This leader will be responsible for connecting demand generation, ABM, digital, events, website, customer proof, marketing operations, and Sales/BDR feedback into one integrated commercial marketing engine — ensuring D-Wave’s marketing activities are aligned to shared audiences, priorities, metrics, and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, this leader will build and execute integrated programs that engage buyers, generate and accelerate qualified pipeline, expand strategic customer relationships, and contribute measurably to revenue growth. The Vice President will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Finance, and other teams to translate D-Wave’s commercial priorities into coordinated, data-driven marketing programs.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute integrated commercial marketing plans aligned with D-Wave’s revenue goals, target industries, priority accounts, and product offerings
  • Build the operating model that connects demand generation, account-based marketing, digital marketing, website, and marketing operations into a coordinated, high-performing organization
  • Translate company and go-to-market priorities into annual and quarterly marketing plans, budgets, performance targets, and clear areas of accountability
  • Oversee demand generation and account-based marketing programs that generate qualified opportunities, accelerate pipeline, support customer expansion, and contribute to revenue growth
  • Partner with Sales leadership to align marketing investment with priority accounts, industries, territories, commercial opportunities, lead follow-up and pipeline goals
  • Establish a closed-loop operating model that connects campaign engagement, account progression, Sales/BDR feedback, pipeline creation, feedback, and learning
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Communications, Customer Success, and Sales to turn customer outcomes, use cases, technical proof points, and market insights into integrated campaigns, content journeys, sales enablement, and executive thought-leadership platforms
  • Guide digital strategy across paid media, website conversion, SEO, AI discovery and visibility, audience development, retargeting, and campaign optimization
  • Strengthen the end-to-end buyer journey by improving lead capture, scoring, routing, nurturing, qualification, sales handoff, re-engagement, and opportunity acceleration
  • Lead the evolution of D-Wave’s marketing technology, data and reporting infrastructure, including marketing automation, CRM integration, intent data, account-based marketing platforms, analytics, attribution, data quality, governance and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Lead monthly integrated marketing impact readouts that connect campaign, website, event, content, ABM, Sales/BDR feedback, and pipeline data into clear decisions about what to scale, optimize, pause, or stop
  • Use performance data, customer insights, and market intelligence to guide investment, improve program effectiveness, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Manage the integrated marketing budget and external agency resources, ensuring investment is aligned with strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes
  • Lead, coach, and develop Directors and Managers across integrated marketing, empowering the team to own execution while establishing clear expectations and accountability
  • Champion strong collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and revenue operations

About You

  • 12+ years of B2B marketing experience within enterprise technology, SaaS, cloud, AI, quantum computing, or a similarly complex technology industry
  • Significant leadership experience across demand generation, account-based marketing, digital marketing, website and SEO, and marketing operations
  • Proven success building integrated marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline, accelerate opportunities, acquire customers, and contribute to revenue growth
