About Us

At Solera Health, we're on a mission to change lives by guiding people seamlessly to better health solutions. We empower payers and employers with tools to manage providers and outcomes across chronic conditions. Our platform curates a marketplace of digital and community-based solutions, strategically matching individuals to their best-fit care while driving meaningful health outcomes.

As a small, fast-moving organization, we value leaders who can think strategically while also rolling up their sleeves. If you thrive in a lean, agile environment where your work directly shapes the future of the product and the company, Solera is the place for you.

About the Position

We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to oversee both Product Operations and Product Management, managing a small but high-impact team. This role is ideal for someone energized by building processes, improving operational rigor, and driving product strategy—all within a collaborative, nimble environment.

You will create the systems that help Solera scale while guiding the product roadmap and partnering closely with engineering and cross-functional leaders. Your leadership will shape how Solera builds products, works cross-functionally, and delivers value to customers and partners.

What You’ll Do

Product Operations

  • Lead and develop the product operations function, ensuring the team has strong processes and structure to scale effectively.
  • Build and optimize workflows, communication models, and cross-functional operating rhythms.
  • Implement tools, frameworks, and documentation practices that improve clarity, transparency, and alignment across Product & Technology.
  • Track and analyze operational metrics, pinpoint bottlenecks, and lead initiatives to improve delivery speed, quality, and predictability.
  • Establish and own organizational goal-setting frameworks (OKRs, KPIs), ensuring measurable and aligned accountability across teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools or technologies that enhance operational efficiency and product outcomes.

Product Management

  • Manage and mentor a small team of product managers, fostering growth, accountability, and high-impact execution.
  • Own and drive the strategic product roadmap—prioritizing based on business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Leverage customer insights, competitive data, and market intelligence to guide product direction.
  • Partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure clear requirements, aligned priorities, and successful product delivery.
  • Strengthen product discovery and delivery practices, ensuring decisions are customer-centered and data-driven.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines, quality, or customer satisfaction.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as a hands-on leader and trusted advisor across the Product & Technology organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure product strategies support organizational priorities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, ownership, and customer obsession.
  • Model clear communication, strong prioritization, and thoughtful execution in a small, nimble company setting.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or consulting, with proven leadership impact.
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare—ideally digital health or healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated success delivering SaaS or SaaS-like platforms and scalable analytics or engagement solutions.
  • Experience managing and developing small teams and influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and the ability to connect strategy to execution.
  • Expertise in process improvement, operational frameworks, and tools that enhance product outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration abilities.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering meaningful, high-quality products.
  • Comfort operating in a small, lean, fast-paced environment where leaders are both strategic and hands-on.

Travel

  • This is a remote position based in the U.S.
  • Occasional domestic travel required (up to 10%).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible, remote-first work culture
  • Generous PTO and 13 paid company holidays
  • Paid parental and pregnancy leave, plus adoption assistance
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Perks including a free Fitbit, Sworkit access, and more
