The Role

You'll be the person clients trust to know their lives: the family updates, the upcoming milestones, the questions they haven't asked yet. As the Relationship Manager for a well-established Austin-based advisory practice, you're the connective tissue between the advisor, the client, and the service team, keeping everything running smoothly so your advisor can focus on growing the business and delivering great advice.

The practice spans clients across asset allocation, tax strategy, retirement planning, equity compensation, and real estate, a sophisticated book that demands a high-touch, detail-oriented relationship presence. No business development. No cold calls. Just building real relationships and making sure clients always feel taken care of.

Your Impact

  • Own the day-to-day client relationship: proactively managing touchpoints, tracking key life events, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the service team, escalating issues with urgency and following through until resolved
  • Maintain a meticulous CRM: keeping client records, notes, and activity logs current and accurate
  • Coordinate client onboarding, account transitions, and service requests in partnership with operations
  • Prepare the advisor for client meetings: gather materials, take notes, and own post-meeting follow-up
  • Anticipate client needs and flag opportunities to deepen relationships or expand share of wallet

The Ideal Match

  • 2–5 years in a client-facing support or relationship role at a wealth management or financial services firm (wirehouse, RIA, or large independent experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record managing high-touch relationships with high-net-worth individuals or families
  • Exceptional follow-through, clients never have to chase you twice
  • Warm, professional communicator who builds trust naturally
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Series 65 or equivalent a plus; CFP coursework welcomed

Bonus Points

  • Background at a wirehouse or large private wealth firm (JP Morgan, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, etc.)
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Redtail, or similar)
  • Genuine love of the details, you're the person who remembers the kids' names and the dog's birthday
  • Familiarity with modern wealth tech platforms

Why Join Us

  • Competitive comp package that rewards impact
  • Work alongside some of the brightest minds in fintech
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startup
  • Chart your own growth path as we expand
