Responsibilities
- Lead visual and content design for web, intranet, and internal documentation - producing polished, on-brand pages, graphics, and written content.
- Translate complex or technical topics into clear, structured, and engaging experiences across corporate site, Confluence, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and content partners to shape solutions that balance creativity, usability, and business goals.
- Apply UX, accessibility, SEO, and performance insights to continuously refine layouts, content structure, and overall clarity for web content design.
- Manage multiple initiatives end-to-end, bringing strong creative judgment, organization, and attention to detail across all deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and producing digital experiences, including building and publishing web pages and page layouts for modern websites.
- 3+ years of visual design experience, with a strong foundation in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, spacing, and overall polish.
- Strong experience working with stakeholders, including the ability to intake requirements, clarify ambiguity, and present solutions with rationale.
- Demonstrated ability to apply UX/UI best practices in page design, with an emphasis on usability, clarity, and user-centered outcomes.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and information architecture, including how structure, metadata, headings, and content hierarchy influence findability and comprehension.
- Experience using analytics and performance data such as page behavior, search queries, and engagement metrics to inform recommendations and improve content effectiveness.
- Proven understanding of web accessibility best practices (WCAG), including designing for contrast, hierarchy, focus states, content clarity, and inclusive experiences.
- Experience working within component-based design systems (and/or modular CMS frameworks), with the ability to design creatively while staying consistent with reusable patterns.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including layout, components, design libraries, and collaborating with handoff-ready artifacts.
- Ability to keep consistent tone of voice and adhere to style guidelines while translating complex or technical topics into clear, customer-friendly content, especially for B2B audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing work, and communicate progress consistently.
- Comfortable working in Agile / iterative environments with rapid feedback cycles and evolving requirements.
- High ownership mindset: demonstrates initiative, problem-solving, and follow-through with broad supervision.
- Working familiarity with basic HTML/CSS concepts (enough to collaborate effectively with developers and understand constraints).
- Experience supporting or maintaining brand identity standards, including applying visual consistency across digital experiences.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in B2B industries (tech, enterprise, manufacturing, semiconductors, SaaS, etc.).
- Ability to create original digital assets (icons, illustrations, diagrams), or light motion/animation skills.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) practices and supporting scalable asset organization.
- Strong personal discipline around structured design files, documentation, and systematic organization.
- Experience contributing to or extending design systems (pattern refinement, component guidelines, usage documentation).
- Able to balance creativity with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio Expectations
- Branded web pages or landing pages showing strong visual design and content hierarchy.
- Examples of content-heavy layouts that demonstrate clarity, structure, and scannability.
- Evidence of working within a design system or component library while maintaining high design quality.
- Proof of consistency and polish: type scale, spacing discipline, alignment, accessibility awareness.
