Sora Union is a globally distributed professional services company that specializes in Design, Software Engineering, QA. Our experienced talent comes from communities where there is displacement or risk of displacement due to conflict or climate change. We provide services to global companies and start-ups across various industries, including healthcare, financial services, technology, and education.

We are looking for a Web3  Developer with 4+ years of experience, who loves building things from scratch and isn’t afraid of ambiguity. You’ll work across smart contracts, backend systems, and user-facing applications to bring decentralized products to life.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real ownership and the freedom to shape both the product and the technical direction.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Build and deploy smart contracts (Ethereum, Polygon, or similar)
  • Develop end-to-end dApps (smart contracts → backend → frontend)
  • Design clean, efficient, and secure on-chain/off-chain architectures
  • Integrate wallets, APIs, and blockchain infrastructure
  • Identify trade-offs (cost, performance, UX) and make pragmatic decisions
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to ship quickly
  • Experiment with new protocols, tools, and ideas

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Web3 Developer.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals (you can build and debug real systems)
  • Hands-on experience with Web3 (smart contracts, dApps, or protocols)
  • Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with tools like Hardhat, Foundry, or Anchor
  • Understanding of how blockchain systems actually behave in production
  • Ability to move from idea → prototype → working solution
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, globally distributed team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Sora Union is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team. We encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds and all walks of life to apply. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to all applicants throughout the application process.
