Job Description

Ensures the security of our online platform. Duties include:

  • Monitor the website for outages, performance problems, or technical errors

  • Check and update WordPress plugins to maintain security and compatibility

  • Review and respond to comments when moderation is required

  • Monitor the forum system for spam or inappropriate activity once the forum launches

  • Assist with uploading and formatting blog posts using Elementor

  • Maintain page layouts, menus, and site navigation structure

  • Create or update website pages when new projects or sections are introduced

  • Ensure pages display correctly across desktop and mobile devices

  • Maintain visual consistency with BASIC Studios branding and design standards

  • Coordinate with writers and leadership when site structure changes affect content

You will receive task assignments and guidance from our leadership team weekly or biweekly, based on your personal preference. We ask our volunteers to provide approximately five to ten hours of their time per week while maintaining consistent communication.
