Dave vs. Goliath. We’re Dave.

Dave is a financial app on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. It is redefining the financial landscape by leveraging technology to create an affordable, transparent, and user-centric access to liquidity for millions of Americans. As a leading innovator in the U.S. financial services sector, Dave’s digital financial platform offers products designed to meet the credit needs of those underserved by traditional financial institutions. Dave’s offerings include its flagship ExtraCash product, providing members up to $500 within minutes. The company is on track to launch several new product offerings in 2026, including a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option.

Dave is focused on serving Americans who are financially vulnerable or living paycheck to paycheck. Dave is leading the charge in creating a new era of credit products that prioritizes speed, affordability, and accessibility, making it the go-to financial partner for those who need it most.

We’re hiring a Website Strategy & Experience Lead to own and evolve Dave’s website as a critical growth channel.

This role sits within the User Acquisition team and is responsible for shaping how our website attracts, educates, and converts potential members. You will define the strategy for how our site supports discovery, builds trust, and moves users from web to app.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, brand, and analytics partners to build a scalable web platform that supports experimentation, improves conversion, and strengthens Dave’s presence across search and emerging AI discovery surfaces.

What You’ll Own
  • Define and evolve the long-term strategy for Dave’s website as an acquisition and discovery platform, connecting SEO, content, UX, and experimentation into a unified roadmap.

  • Analyze website performance, user journeys, and conversion funnels to identify opportunities that improve acquisition efficiency and web-to-app conversion.

  • Partner with engineering and product to develop a flexible website architecture in Contentful that supports scalable landing pages, experimentation, and rapid iteration.

  • Lead search and discovery strategy across technical SEO, site architecture, and content frameworks, helping Dave appear in traditional search as well as emerging AI and generative discovery experiences.

  • Build and manage an experimentation roadmap using tools like Ninetailed, translating test results into scalable improvements across the website.

  • Collaborate with brand and content teams to develop educational and product-focused content that strengthens trust and positions Dave as a credible financial resource.

  • Ensure website experiences meet accessibility and regulatory standards, including ADA and CCPA requirements.

The Impact

Your work will shape one of the first experiences millions of people have with Dave. A well-designed and discoverable website helps people understand their financial options and confidently take the next step toward becoming a member.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Technical Foundation

  • 8+ years of experience in website strategy, growth marketing, or digital experience management (specifically for consumer products/b2c).

  • Proven track record owning a high-traffic website that directly contributes to user acquisition and CAC efficiency.

  • Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to build scalable web infrastructure and experimentation frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using tools like Google Analytics to evaluate performance and guide decisions.

  • Experience working with modern CMS platforms such as Contentful and experimentation tools like Ninetailed.

  • Deep understanding of SEO, conversion rate optimization, and modern discovery channels, including AI and generative search.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across marketing, product, engineering, design, and legal partners.

Bonus

  • Experience in fintech or another regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO) and app store landing page strategy.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

You take responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables. You understand how website strategy connects to acquisition efficiency, member trust, and long-term growth. When evaluating opportunities, you balance short-term improvements with systems that will hold up over time.

You’re comfortable working across teams and connecting the dots between content, engineering, design, and marketing. Feedback and new data sharpen your thinking, and when priorities evolve, you adjust direction without losing momentum.

What to Expect

This role offers meaningful ownership of a high-impact surface area of the business. Not everything will be fully defined at the start, and part of the opportunity is shaping how the website evolves as a growth engine.

Decisions are data-informed, collaboration is essential, and experimentation is encouraged.

Why Join Dave
  • Help expand access to fair financial tools for millions of people.

  • Own a high-visibility platform that directly impacts member growth.

  • Work with a collaborative, data-driven team across product, engineering, and marketing.

  • Build systems and experiences that scale as Dave launches new financial products.
