Huckberry was founded on the belief that adventure is a mindset, not a destination. We’re looking for a Wholesale Partnerships Manager to help us bring that mission to life. Reporting to the VP of Wholesale, you’ll own the relationships that introduce our house brands—like Flint and Tinder, Proof, and Wills—from the backcountry to the big city.

You’ll manage a heavy-hitting portfolio of national and specialty accounts, balancing sharp analytical instincts with an eye for intentional design. This isn't a "desk job" sales role; it’s a high-stakes balancing act of seasonal forecasting, account nurturing, and pure hustle. You’ll be the face of Huckberry in the field, opening new doors for our brands and ensuring our partners have the gear and the storytelling they need to win. If you’re a builder who thrives in the whitespace and isn't afraid to get your hands dirty to get the job done, you’ll fit right in.

Preference for Austin-based, but open to remote candidates who are able to frequently travel to Austin HQ.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account Leadership
  • Manage and grow accounts across national and regional partners—including department stores, specialty/lifestyle retailers, outdoor retailers, and the Sporting Goods channel
  • Deliver annual revenue, margin, and productivity goals while championing Huckberry’s commitment to quality, integrity, and long-term partnership
  • Position Huckberry’s brands to maximize impact, elevate product storytelling, and drive full-price sell-through
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and unlock new ways for customers to discover gear built for the long haul
Sales Planning & Go-to-Market Execution
  • Own the full sales cycle: forecasting, order planning, assortment curation, in-season management, and post-season hindsight reviews for accounts
  • Build thoughtful business plans informed by both data and instinct—aligning financial goals with brand-right growth strategies
  • Provide Buyers and Planners with OTB guidance, inventory flow strategy, sell-through analysis, and retail math support
  • Lead compelling, insight-driven buy meetings that highlight Huckberry’s craftsmanship, product innovation, and seasonal storytelling
  • Participate in sales meetings, go-to-market sessions, and trade events with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
Brand & Marketplace Integration
  • Partner with Marketing and Merchandising to develop channel-appropriate marketing plans that elevate brand presence and storytelling
  • Serve as the voice from the field, bringing competitive insights, marketplace feedback, consumer trends, and product reactions back to the team
  • Ensure Huckberry is represented authentically and consistently across all retail touchpoints
Operational & Cross-Functional Excellence
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, and Merchandising to ensure clean, accurate execution: aligned inventory, on-time deliveries, and strong in-season management
  • Manage account-specific budgets and marketing investments with an ownership mindset, ensuring spend supports strategic storytelling and measurable results
Conduct regular account visits to nurture relationships, assess product presentation, product knowledge, and surface growth opportunities

Requirements
  • 5–10 years of wholesale sales or account management experience in apparel, footwear, outdoor, or lifestyle consumer goods
    • OR commensurate experience in Buying, Planning, Merchandising, or Brand Management within a relevant retail environment
  • Proven success managing meaningful seasonal order volume and multi-category assortments
  • Strong command of retail financial levers: margins, turn, category planning, forecasting, and OTB
Skills & Attributes
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, skilled at earning trust and driving alignment with Buyers, Planners, Merchants, and senior leaders
  • Strong analytical instincts; able to interpret data and translate it into clear, strategic actions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with building, problem-solving, and iterating in a high-growth environment
  • Highly adaptable, detail-driven, and steady under pressure
  • Genuine passion for the Huckberry brand, lifestyle, and customer
  • Demonstrates curiosity, grit, optimism, and a team-first approach
Other Considerations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for account visits, buy meetings, and trade events
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours during peak seasons
  • Ability to lift and transport product samples (approximately 40–50 lbs).
  • Valid driver’s license

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits
  • 401(k) and employer match
  • Annual Huckberry shopping credits
  • Paid Sabbatical leave at 4 years
  • Summer Fridays
  • Weekly catered lunch
  • Monthly happy hours
