You will operate at the critical intersection of product, technology, operations, regulation, and customer engagement, ensuring that Fnality Payment Systems (FnPS) in EUR, USD and other currencies meet the highest standards of usability, reliability, and strategic impact.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work closely with Senior Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to deliver product features, market‑driven changes, and the organisational capabilities required for the next generation of blockchain‑enabled wholesale payments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Management & Strategy

· Facilitate collaboration across product, technology, operations, risk, legal, and customer teams to deliver outcomes aligned with strategic goals.

· Define and prioritise product features in coordination with Senior Product Managers, particularly for EUR and USD FnPS.

· Drive continuous discovery, incorporating customer feedback, regulatory developments, and market changes (e.g., SWIFT, T2, Fedwire).

· Complete clear business requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring review and alignment with Legal, Risk, Operations, and Participant Management.

· Support translation of business requirements into user journeys and technical specifications.

· Evaluate emerging DvP, PvP, and digital‑asset use cases to determine necessary FnPS support and produce corresponding requirements.

· Produce high‑quality internal and external documentation (business requirements, feature descriptions, release notes).

· Operate effectively in an agile delivery environment, managing the full lifecycle from concept through release.

· Define product goals, KPIs, and value metrics, communicating insights and progress to leadership.

· Maintain a strong understanding of the software development and release lifecycle.

2. Product Ownership & Delivery

· Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, Participants, and external partners.

· Translate between technical requirements and commercial priorities, ensuring clear, structured communication across all audiences.

· Maintain and communicate product roadmaps that reflect shifting customer, regulatory, and market needs.

· Support technical delivery teams by ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely execution.

· Drive structured customer and user engagement through working groups, forums, and testing cycles.

· Ensure product development aligns with participant needs, regulatory requirements, and business strategy.

3. Delivery Coordination

· Support Senior Product Managers in determining feature release sequencing and defining the critical path for EUR and USD FnPS delivery.

· Maintain and update detailed delivery plans, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and following up with owners.

· Maintain risk, issues, and dependency logs, escalating where needed.

· Identify key blockers to the critical path and coordinate stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Operations, and Tech to drive resolution.

· Represent Product in governance meetings (e.g., SteerCos) alongside senior leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Domain Expertise

· Deep knowledge of RTGS systems, high‑value payments, and settlement processes including DvP and PvP.

· Practical experience with SWIFT ISO 20022 MX messaging and familiarity with MT/MX formats.

· Experience working within a regulated payment institution (bank, fintech, FMI) and engaging with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders.

· Understanding of financial services regulation as it relates to payments and market infrastructure.

· Familiarity with blockchain and distributed ledger technology; strong interest in decentralised financial market infrastructure.

· Understanding of distributed systems, reliability, security, and high-performance architectures.

· Experience working with engineering teams and integration partners.

· Practical experience using Confluence, Jira, and other collaboration tools.

· Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies.

Business & Communication Skills

· Strong ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences.

· Excellent written communication skills, including structured documentation for stakeholders and customers.

· Ability to influence without authority across complex, matrixed environments.

· Proven stakeholder‑management experience, including risk, issue, and dependency management.

Ways of Working

· Highly organised, structured, and detail‑oriented.

· Comfortable working in innovative, fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

· Skilled in facilitation of customer and user working groups.

· Willing to roll up sleeves and support hands‑on delivery as needed.

Personal Attributes

· Entrepreneurial, proactive, and outcomes‑driven.

· Collaborative, transparent, and committed to continuous improvement.

· Strong holistic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.

· Customer-obsessed, ensuring solutions deliver real, measurable value.
