The AMS team is looking for an experienced HCM consultant who can act as a Lead Consultant in Advanced Compensation. Experience in another module (e.g. Core Compensation) and a robust general understanding of Compensation and touchpoints would be beneficial.

You will have demonstrably strong knowledge of Workday functionality, configuration, testing, and best practices in your functional areas. You will be able to think through dependencies, cross-stream implications, maintenance concerns, and to guide clients on how/what to test.

You will be responsible for proactively gathering complex requirements, understanding the HR use cases behind Workday functions, and learning clients' internal processes. You will have strong problem-solving skills; offering creative solutions to solve challenging problems. You will have an appetite and aptitude for researching and developing solutions to complex Workday related issues.

You will be able to build strong relationships with clients, as well as balance competing priorities of different urgencies across multiple clients. You will be expected to establish reasonable timelines and estimates with clients and drive work forward to timely completion.

You will also be able to make unsolicited but related and valuable suggestions of how to improve the configuration and ultimately the user experience within Workday. You will also be able to lead junior resources and teach best practice on approaches, requirement gathering, and configuration.

You are passionate about process improvement and will support your team with initiatives to around internal processes and how we work with our customers. You are a strong communicator and have the motivation to work with others to get buy in on these initiatives.

 

Qualifications
  • Workday certification in Advanced Compensation
  • Another certification is beneficial
  • At least 3 years of configuration experience in Advanced Compensation
  • Completed 3+ end-to-end HCM suite implementations delivered via Launch or Your Way; or worked in a post-deployment setting for at least 2 years
  • Beneficial experience (not required):
    • Estimating and scoping
    • Experience in a client-side Compensation role
    • Client-side Workday implementation experience
