Senior Associates play an integral client-facing project or work-stream leadership role. While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Sr. Associate can expect to spend their time with a heavy focus on material client interaction through all projects, project management, intensive data-analysis and the identification for the “so-what’s” therein, and to creating compelling client-ready presentations. Additionally, the Sr. Associate will focus on developing Analysts and Coachees.

Required:
•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or commensurate work experience
•    Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in consulting, financial aid, higher education, and/or accounting 
•    Previous experience implementing Student Information Systems like Workday, Banner, Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, or Oracle
•    Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments

Preferred Skills & Experience:
•Functional Knowledge in Workday Financial Aid
•Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial aid systems and processes to institutional goals, improve reporting/analytics, and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Experienced understanding of higher education financial aid operations and related compliance requirements.
•    Demonstrated knowledge in academic structure, organizational assessment, and strategic planning.
•    Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros)
•    Expertise in the HR and/or Financials function, processes and best practices
•    Experience as a functional application specialist 
•    Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
•    The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
•    The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
•    Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
•    A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies

•  Travel when requested by client

 Salary varies based on experience and participates in Huron’s performance-based incentive program.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $115,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $128,800 - $166,700. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
