The Workday Functional Consultant will manage implementation workstreams, conduct design discussions, perform configurations, facilitate testing, and ensure successful project delivery.

We are looking for a skilled Workday Functional Consultant to join our implementation team and drive hands-on configuration and delivery of Workday solutions. This role requires strong functional expertise, deep configuration experience, and the ability to independently own specific workstreams across end-to-end implementations.
The ideal candidate is experienced in Workday deployments and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation & Configuration- Lead and support functional workstreams during Workday implementations, including:
- Payroll
- Absence
- Time Tracking
- Financials
- Perform hands-on configuration across:
- Business Process Framework (BPF)
- Organizational structures
- Eligibility rules and calculations
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
- Conduct:
- Discovery sessions
- Requirements workshops
- Design discussions
- Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs) where required
- Identify gaps and recommend Workday-native solutions aligned with best practices
- Actively participate in:
- Conference Room Pilots (CRP1, CRP2)
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support data validation and migration activities
- Assist in go-live and hypercare phases
- Work closely with:
- Integration consultants
- Reporting teams
- Client SMEs and stakeholders
- Support cross-functional alignment to ensure successful delivery
- 4–9+ years of Workday functional experience
- Minimum 1–2 full lifecycle Workday implementations (mandatory)
- At least 2+ years of experience with a Workday partner organization
- Active Workday certifications with willingness to transfer to E1
- Strong hands-on configuration expertise in at least one module:
- Payroll
- Absence
- Time Tracking
- Financials
- Solid understanding of:
- Workday business processes
- Configuration dependencies across modules
