We’re looking for a Workday Testing Lead who understands how critical testing is in a campus environment. When systems touch payroll, faculty appointments, grants, and students, there’s no room for guesswork.

You’ll design and run testing that reflects real Higher Ed workflows and calendar-driven constraints

Location

Remote with 10% travel to Tuscaloosa, AL, United States

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall Workday testing strategy

  • Lead system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Coordinate testing across HR, Finance, Payroll, and academic stakeholders

  • Validate testing scenarios against Higher Ed business processes

  • Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution

  • Support cutover readiness and go-live approval

  • Ensure testing aligns with academic calendars and payroll cycles

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of ERP testing leadership experience

  • Direct Workday testing experience required

  • Higher Education experience required

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Workday business processes

  • Experience with defect management tools and test documentation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience testing Workday Student or complex payrolls

  • QA or testing certification

  • Prior experience supporting go-live readiness in Higher Ed
