Workplace Associate – JLL

What this job involves:

The Workplace Associate provides comprehensive workplace management services to create a best-in-class experience while supporting routine facility operations. As the first point of contact at Reception, this pivotal role delivers authentic service experiences that strengthen the bond between JLL, our clients, and their guests. You'll be responsible for continuous monitoring of facility conditions, procurement management, work order coordination, and welcoming employees with genuine hospitality. This role maintains smooth operations through exceptional customer service, thoughtful administrative support, and execution of duties to the highest professional standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Create a comfortable, welcoming, and hospitable environment for employees and guests while serving as the first point of contact at Reception
  • Monitor office and facility conditions continuously, coordinating maintenance activities and managing internal and building work order systems
  • Provide authentic, caring, and timely services by anticipating client needs and directing teammates and guests to appropriate points of contact
  • Deliver personable and efficient visitor registration services while ensuring regulatory compliance in visitor access systems
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and break areas, monitor and stock supplies, and ensure proper functioning of beverage machines
  • Organize receipt and delivery of mail and courier services, manage mail distribution, and process outgoing packages
  • Handle internal and external communications, assist with meeting and conference room reservations, and provide facility-specific assistance to the project management team

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in facilities management, building management, business, or related field; OR 2+ years of experience in Facility or Property Administration
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
  • Experience with Corrigo or other CMMS/Automated Work Order systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced proficiency in Excel for customizing administrative reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and collaborative approach
  • Ability to multitask and work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective planning and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting budgetary requests, analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of HSSE guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with badge access administration and security protocols
  • Experience providing direction to vendors and service providers

Location: Austin, TX

Work Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
