Summary of Role:

The Worldwide Channel Partner Leader will be responsible for developing and executing GF’s global channel partner strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market coverage, and strengthen relationships with key distribution and reseller partners. This role will ensure alignment with GF’s go-to-market objectives, enabling high-performance execution and customer satisfaction across all geographies. 

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and results-driven leader with a strong background in channel partner management, business development, and semiconductor or technology sales. This role will require close collaboration with regional sales leaders, marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver scalable channel programs that meet revenue and growth targets. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:   

  • Develop and execute GF’s worldwide channel partner strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and sales priorities. 

  • Identify, onboard, and manage top-tier channel partners to expand GF’s market reach. 

  • Define and monitor key performance metrics for channel success, including revenue targets, partner engagement, and market penetration. 

  • Negotiate partner agreements and drive joint business planning with strategic partners. 

  • Identify emerging market opportunities and build partner capabilities to address them. 

  • Ensure partners are enabled with training, tools, and resources to effectively represent GF’s technology portfolio. 

  • Lead the design and execution of channel incentive programs, performance management processes, and partner enablement initiatives. 

  • Coordinate with marketing to develop joint go-to-market campaigns and demand-generation activities. 

  • Implement scalable processes and best practices to improve partner productivity and profitability. 

  • Partner with regional sales, marketing, and operations to ensure a seamless partner and customer experience. 

  • Align with product management to ensure channel readiness for new product launches. 

  • Provide regular executive updates on channel performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. 

 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs. 

  • Other duties as assigned by manager. 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. 

  • 12+ years of experience in channel partner management, business development, or sales leadership within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industry. 

  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth through partner networks. 

  • Experience managing global teams and working in a matrixed environment. 

  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills. 

  • Strong executive presence and experience influencing at the XT level. 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive global alignment and cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Experience developing and executing scalable channel strategies that deliver measurable business impact. 

  • Travel - Up to 30% 

  • Fluency in English – written & verbal.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Education - Master’s degree or MBA. 

  • Familiarity with global channel ecosystems and semiconductor go-to-market models. 

  • Deep understanding of channel sales motions, partner incentives, and regional market dynamics. 

Expected Salary Range

$178,500.00 - $341,200.00
