announced new software today.

Bloomfire SE applies the company’s trademark knowledge sharing architecture to sales and marketing, two disciplines born to support each other but often doomed to get in each other’s way.

Whereas Bloomfire’s other offerings focus on helping coworkers share and access company knowledge, saving time and repeating fewer questions, Bloomfire SE is about sending marketing content to prospects — and measuring how it affects the sales process.

Chief Operating Officer Mark Hammer called the new application a natural extension of the company’s mission.

“Our mission is to connect people with the information they need to do their jobs,” Hammer said in a statement. “Bloomfire SE is a powerful platform for connecting sales reps with their prospects through content. But the real power is in the insights sales and marketing teams will gain from this — insights that have the potential for completely changing how sales teams engage their customers.”

Best of all? Bloomfire SE works as a standalone program or as an integration with Salesforce.
