Weekly Refresh: Sumo Logic Acquires JASK and Dandy Launches its Platform

AI startup Hypergiant launched its Disaster Mapping System. The platform uses machine learning to scan imaging data to find areas that have been impacted by natural disasters so first responders know where to go. [Built In Austin]

Lenovo and SparkCognition are partnering. The AI endpoint protection product DeepArmor from SparkCognition will launch for all of Lenovo’s small- to medium-sized businesses, starting in North America. The solution was designed specifically for small business users. [PRNewswire]

JASK has been acquired by Sumo Logic. Security event management company Sumo Logic announced that it acquired JASK, a security operations startup which has raised about $40M. The acquisition will allow them to provide a full security solution. [TechCrunch]

KERV Interactive hired two C-suite executives. The interactive video company promoted Marika Roque to COO and Taylor Pate to CTO. They’ll partner to on the company’s tech roadmap, which includes SaaS platform strategies and increasing the product feature set. [Press Release]
