Build and scale Go backend services for agent quoting, configuration, and application submission. Partner with adjacent teams, resolve partner-specific edge cases, provide architectural leadership, write unit and integration tests, review code, and promote automation, CI/CD, and continuous improvement. The role expects daily use of AI coding tools and ownership of services across distributed systems and microservices environments.

Own Bestow’s total rewards portfolio, including compensation benchmarking, salary bands, merit and bonus cycles, equity administration, geographic pay ranges, benefits strategy, and renewals. Configure and maintain Pave, ensure HRIS data integrity, support job leveling, model equity programs, and partner with Finance, Legal, brokers, and the compensation committee. This hands-on role will build the company’s Total Rewards infrastructure from the ground up.

Leads the Insurance Product Configuration and Enrollment Platform Core, managing engineering managers and 20–30 engineers. Owns technical vision, distributed systems architecture, delivery commitments, operational excellence, testing strategy, partner implementations, and cross-team interfaces. Develops engineering leaders, manages hiring and vendors, and drives adoption of AI-augmented development tools and practices. Ensures scalable, secure, reliable platform services while balancing contractual delivery dates with long-term platform maintainability.
