Manages receipt, tracking, custody, reconciliation, and quality control of original mortgage collateral documents after closing. Responsibilities include clearing custodian exceptions, obtaining trailing documents, coordinating collateral transfers and bailee administration, supporting assignments and allonges, coordinating recording, and maintaining accurate records for loan sales and financing transactions.

The Senior Accountant manages month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and timely GAAP-compliant reporting. The role supports audits, internal controls, tax filings, regulatory reporting, technical accounting research, process improvements, and leadership’s ad hoc financial analysis. Experience with real estate lending, financial services, Excel, QuickBooks, BI tools, SQL, and relevant accounting standards is valuable.

Manages mortgage loan closing, funding, documentation, recording, and collateral operations. Responsibilities include reviewing settlement statements and legal entity documents, coordinating with title companies and notaries, preparing wire disbursements, drafting assignments and endorsements, organizing loan files, shipping collateral packages, and uploading digital records. The role also conducts research and supports projects involving regulatory and borrower-related issues.

Perform due diligence and underwriting for DSCR mortgage loans, manage a pipeline of 25–30 deals, communicate with investors and brokers, prepare asset summary reports, coordinate vendors, and support loan closings while building client relationships and attending industry events.

The Account Executive will convert inbound leads into loan deals, maintain borrower relationships, and manage loan origination processes, using CRM software to track progress and communicate effectively.
