Supports senior engineers with power transformer diagnostic testing, data interpretation, technical reporting, commissioning, energization, acceptance testing, field documentation, and client coordination. The role develops hands-on expertise in transformer theory, power systems, electrical testing, IEEE C57 standards, NETA specifications, and OSHA safety practices. National travel to client sites is required, including work around energized equipment and outdoor field conditions.

Lead engineering assessments, diagnostics, testing, and lifecycle management for power transformers (5 MVA to 500+ MVA). Perform advanced testing (DGA, power factor, insulation resistance), root-cause analysis, approve drawings and test plans, mentor junior engineers, support utility interconnection and commissioning, and provide nationwide on-site engineering oversight to improve asset performance and reliability.
