We need an English-fluent People Operations Manager, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a general HR resource for employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee-related questions.
  •  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including managing requirements across multiple states.
  •  Support the maintenance and evolution of employee handbooks, policies, and internal HR documentation.
  •  Support audits, reporting, and compliance-related requests.
  •  Manage employee data across HR systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the employee lifecycle.
  •  Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and ongoing employee support.
  •  Act as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, HR systems, and general people operations.
  •  Own the onboarding process from offer acceptance through the employee's first week.
  •  Communicate with new hires prior to their start date to ensure a smooth, welcoming transition.
  •  Coordinate all onboarding logistics, including email setup, computer and equipment provisioning, and access to systems and tools.
  •  Partner with People Operations counterparts across multiple agencies to coordinate systems, processes, and requirements, ensuring a seamless and consistent onboarding experience.
  •  Partner with IT, hiring managers, and leadership to ensure new hires are fully set up on day one.
  •  Schedule and coordinate first-week meetings with key stakeholders across the organization.
  •  Conduct onboarding check-ins to ensure new hires feel supported, informed, and connected.
  •  Manage offboarding processes, including system access removal, exit documentation, and coordination with payroll and benefits.
  •  Partner closely with the Head of People on programs, process improvements, and employee experience initiatives.
  •  Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, onboarding experiences, and internal communications.
  •  Support employee engagement, culture initiatives, and internal events as needed.

Requirements:

  •  4+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or an HR Generalist role.
  •  Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance across multiple U.S. states.
  •  Experience supporting benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
  •  Proven experience managing onboarding processes and employee lifecycle logistics.
  •  Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  •  Empathetic, approachable communicator with a service-oriented mindset.
  •  Experience in a creative, agency, or professional services environment is a plus.
  •  Highly organized, detail-driven, and motivated by connecting people with purpose.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,500 - $3,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
