JOB TITLE: Educational Diagnostician

LOCATION: Multiple dynamic locations across Texas, including San Antonio, Austin, Ft. Worth-Dallas, Houston, and their surrounding areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Educational Diagnostician at AIM, you will:

  • Utilize diverse assessment instruments to identify students for Special Education Services.
  • Organize assignments efficiently to meet due dates and mandated timelines.
  • Provide invaluable consultation to parents and school personnel on students' educational needs.
  • Craft comprehensive Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) or Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED) reports.
  • Attend ARD Committee meetings, interpreting evaluation results with precision.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by AIM leaders.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Showcase your expertise with 3+ years of successful teaching in a public or private school setting.
  • Demonstrate experience in administering and interpreting various psycho-educational evaluation instruments.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold a Master's Degree in education or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Possess a valid Texas teaching certification.
  • Educational Diagnostician Certification by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
  • Successfully completed the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES).

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficient in Test Kits, Diagnostic Software, and Report Writing.
  • Strong Time Management & Punctuality skills.
  • Embody Professional Email and Messaging Etiquette.
  • Navigate Special Education Management Software (eSped/Frontline), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office with ease.
