Reports To: Jessica Thorberg, VP Account Management
Compensation Range: $75000 - $95000

About Private Health Management

Private Health Management guides patients and families through the chaos and complexity of serious medical care, for cancer and beyond. As an independent advocate and trusted partner during healthcare’s most challenging moments, our team of experts work alongside physicians to orchestrate the best treatment, advocacy, and support to deliver measurably better outcomes.

Everyone deserves great care. We make sure they get it.

About the Role

The Account Coordinator will support PHM’s Account Management team as we prepare for newly sold business and continued growth. This role will take on administrative and transactional responsibilities that currently sit with Account Executives, creating more capacity for strategic planning and relationship management while helping the team maintain timely, accurate execution.

In addition to supporting Account Executives, the Account Coordinator will support smaller revenue-generating PHM clients, building hands-on account management experience and increasing ownership as they grow. This is an opportunity for someone early in their account management career, including a recent college graduate, to learn PHM’s business and develop within the role. The right person will thrive in a fast-moving environment where processes and role boundaries are not always fully defined.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Improve Salesforce data quality and help expand how the Account Management team uses Salesforce.
  • Create useful reporting that gives Account Executives better information to manage their work and accounts.
  • Develop the knowledge and capability to effectively support smaller revenue-generating PHM clients.
  • Increase team capacity while helping maintain strong turnaround times and accuracy as the business grows.

How You’ll Spend Your Days

Account Management Support

Take ownership of administrative and transactional work that supports Account Executives and helps keep account activity moving efficiently. Support recurring account needs, including monthly and quarterly meeting preparation and renewals.

Client Support

Support smaller revenue-generating PHM clients, helping ensure their account needs are addressed accurately and on time. Build account management skills and client knowledge while taking on increasing ownership as experience grows.

Systems and Reporting

Maintain and improve information in Salesforce, contribute to expanded Salesforce capabilities, and create reporting that supports Account Executives. Work regularly across Salesforce, Sigma, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office 365, and Zoom.

Growing With the Team

Learn PHM’s account management processes and business quickly, taking on increasing responsibility as your knowledge grows. Navigate inconsistent or undocumented processes and evolving role boundaries with curiosity, initiative, and proactive communication.

What You Bring to the Table

Required

  • Strong organization and the ability to keep multiple details and priorities moving.
  • Proactive communication skills, demonstrated through clear and timely follow-through.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.

Nice to Have

Experience or exposure to benefits, insurance, or digital health.

Compensation

The target base salary for this position is $75000 - $95000.

This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes: health/dental/vision benefits, annual cash incentive program, 401k with match, flexible PTO, PHM for PHM (our services for you and your dependents) and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.

Location

This is a remote role requiring that you live in and physically perform all work in the United States.

Next Steps

Private Health Management is a remote company with employees across the United States. If your application is selected for next steps, you’ll hear from a member of our recruiting team about the interview process, which may include conversations with the hiring manager, peers, and department leaders, conducted virtually by Zoom or phone.

PHM may use AI-enabled tools at certain points in the recruiting process to help us review candidates consistently and give more qualified applicants an opportunity to be considered beyond their resume. AI tools may support parts of the process, but they do not make hiring decisions. All hiring decisions are made by human reviewers.
