Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Account Director to serve as the single point of accountability for the full Texas Private Cloud contract and provide executive-level leadership for the delivery of services to the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).

The Account Director will serve as the primary face of Peraton to DIR leadership and will have overall day-to-day responsibility for service delivery, billing, relationship management, customer satisfaction, and attainment of all applicable Service Levels.


Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area. Candidates must be local to the Austin area or willing and able to relocate to the Austin metropolitan area to satisfy contract requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


The Account Director shall:

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the Services.
  • Be the single point of contact to whom all DIR communications concerning the Agreement may be addressed.
  • Have the authority to act on behalf of Peraton in all day-to-day matters pertaining to the Agreement.
  • Have day-to-day responsibility for service delivery, billing, and relationship management.
  • Have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring DIR Customer satisfaction and attainment of all Service Levels.
  • Additional Key Responsibilities:


    • Serve as Peraton's single point of accountability for the full Texas Private Cloud contract.
    • Serve as the single point of contact for all DIR communications concerning the Agreement.
    • Exercise authority to act on behalf of Peraton in all day-to-day matters.
    • Maintain day-to-day responsibility for service delivery, billing, and relationship management.
    • Ensure DIR Customer satisfaction and attainment of all Service Levels.
    • Serve as the primary executive-facing representative and relationship leader for DIR.
    • Provide leadership across a complex, multi-vendor/MSI IT environment.
    • Drive accountability for contract performance, service-level achievement, and customer outcomes.
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 16 years of experience, may have management experience
    • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale government IT managed services contracts, preferably contracts valued at $50M+ per year.
    • Prior experience serving as an Account Director, Program Director, or equivalent leadership role on Texas state government or other large public-sector IT contracts.
    • Demonstrated experience serving as the single point of accountability in complex multi-vendor/MSI IT environments.
    • Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to serve as the primary face of the organization to DIR leadership and other senior stakeholders.
    • Experience managing SLA performance and customer satisfaction within complex, multi-tower IT programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day service delivery, billing, client relationships, and contractual performance.
    • Strong communication, leadership, relationship-management, and executive stakeholder-management skills.
    • Ability to represent Peraton effectively with senior government executives and other key stakeholders.
    • Must be a US Citizen.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PMP certification
    • ITIL Foundation preferred

    Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
