About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a high-impact Account Director to accelerate new logo growth across the North American utilities market. This is a true hunter role - ideal for someone who thrives on opening doors, shaping complex deals, and building long-term strategic relationships in the evolving energy landscape.

You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence across key markets across North Americas power sector. Working closely with the Regional VP, you’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy to define and execute go-to-market strategies, leveraging your industry network, commercial instincts, and consultative SaaS expertise.

This is more than a sales role it’s an opportunity to influence how leading utilities and energy players navigate market complexity, regulatory change, and the energy transition.

What You’ll Do

  • Own new logo acquisition across Houston and adjacent energy markets, building a strong, self-generated pipeline.

  • Drive full-cycle enterprise sales, from prospecting and discovery through to deal closure and contract negotiation.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Customer Success and Marketing to unlock expansion and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Engage at all levels—from end users to C-suite stakeholders—using a consultative, value-led approach.

  • Translate market complexity into opportunity, connecting regional dynamics with broader U.S. energy trends.

  • Leverage modern sales tools (Salesforce, CPQ, HubSpot, ZoomInfo) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and execution with discipline.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and solution teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and tailored solutions.

  • Continuously build market intelligence, identifying emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and new growth segments.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS or strategic solution sales, ideally within energy, utilities, or complex technology environments.

  • Proven track record of winning new business and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

  • Deep expertise in the Texas energy market, including ERCOT structures, stakeholders, and commercial dynamics.

  • Strong understanding of power markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry transformation trends.

  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex, high-value platforms through a consultative, insight-driven approach.

  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and influencing senior decision-makers.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce (including CPQ) and modern sales enablement tools.

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a high-performing team.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
