Lead a billing team for transportation services, ensuring accurate, timely billing and payment processing. Collaborate with IT and Business Process teams to design and support billing solutions, drive continuous process improvements, monitor compliance (SOX, RevRec606), resolve billing issues, and report status to management.
Pillar Biosciences is looking to disrupt the NGS diagnostic space with our fabulous product and our ability to offer de-centralized testing vs sending samples to external labs. We can get results in 1 day and get patients on the precise medicine they need.
This is a remote, field based position that will cover IL, WI, MN, IA, ND, SD, MT, WY, NE, MO, AR, OK, KS, CO and other states in the Central region of the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for representing Pillar Biosciences’ Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) solution to all prospective laboratories including Core Laboratories within large Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Academic Medical Centers, and Commercial Laboratories within a defined geographic territory
- Qualify and engage those laboratories who have currently adapted or who will soon adapt NGS testing
- Articulate the benefits of Pillar Biosciences proprietary technology and how Decision Medicine can improve cancer treatment while increasing the laboratory’s efficiency
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Cultivate and leverage customer relationships into a referral base through professionalism, focus on customer service and support and providing added value in every engagement
- Represent Pillar Biosciences in a professional and knowledgeable manner at regional and national medical association meetings and symposia.
- Consistently maintain accurate customer data including contacts, competitive landscape, test volumes and current status within Pillar Biosciences CRM (SalesForce)
- Provide accurate forecasting data and deliver regular business reviews to senior management
- Conform to all tenets within Pillar Biosciences’ Quality System.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in business or life sciences
- 7+ years of demonstrable success in complex selling in healthcare market (in vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.)
- Five plus years of demonstrable success Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) sales – NGS highly preferable.
- Must take initiative and be detail-oriented, well organized and have ability to meet forecast deadlines and perform in a fast-paced work environment – work with a sense of urgency.

Compensation: Base salary between $125,000 -$145,000 based on skills and experience
