The Digital Cloud BU is growing fast, and we're building the sales engine to match a product roadmap that isn't slowing down. This is a ground-floor seat on that growth: the marketing engine is already generating demand, the product has real momentum behind it, and we're not selling a commodity. We've built a genuine moat — customers have a clear, compelling reason to buy from us instead of anywhere else.

If you're the kind of person who wants a wide-open runway, a real product story behind every pitch, and a market that's still there for the taking, this is that role. The tools are already on the table. What happens next is up to how hard and how well you use them.

This is not a role for someone who wants to coast on inbound or ease into a territory over a year. We're looking for someone who wants to run at a big number from day one, who's energized by a leaderboard instead of intimidated by one, and who wants to be one of the first names people point to when they talk about how this business took off. The expectations are real. So is the upside — this is the kind of seat where getting in early and performing can define the next few years of your career, not just your quota attainment this quarter.

ResponsibilitiesPipeline Generation & Closing
  • Build and work pipeline across multiple lead motions, including warm conversions within our own customer base, look-alike vertical prospecting, and targeted list-based outbound.
  • Run a high-volume daily cadence of calls, email sequences, and follow-up.
  • Own the full sales cycle for transactional, fast-close deals, from prospecting through signature.
  • Consistently generate new opportunities and maintain the activity levels required to achieve quota.
  • Hand off every closed account cleanly to the Account Manager; this role owns net-new business only, not ongoing relationship management.
Team & Culture
  • Show up consistently on the activity and closing leaderboard.
  • Help build a competitive-but-collegial culture where everyone’s numbers go up because the team is winning so much business.
  • Share successful outreach approaches, messaging, and closing techniques with the team.
  • Bring energy, urgency, and accountability to the sales floor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the Sales Lead to align territory and target focus, maintain pipeline discipline, and sharpen closing technique.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure every closed account transitions cleanly into ongoing relationship management.
  • Partner with Product to surface roadmap and positioning input that sharpens the pitch and keeps the sales story current.
  • Engage Solutions Engineers for technical questions during the sales process as needed.
What Success Looks Like
  • High, consistent daily and weekly activity across calls, outreach touches, and meetings booked.
  • Short sales cycles from first touch to close.
  • Steady, repeatable monthly close volume, not a few big wins.
  • Consistent quota attainment and strong performance against pipeline and activity expectations.
  • Visible, competitive performance on the team's activity and closing leaderboard, in a way that raises the whole pod's numbers rather than coming at a teammate's expense.
  • Clean, timely handoffs to Account Managers that set customers up for a strong start.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven track record closing deals in a high-volume, short-cycle sales motion.
  • Experience owning a full transactional sales cycle as a sales representative.
  • Comfortable with heavy daily outbound activity, including calls, email sequences, and systematic follow-up.
  • Genuinely competitive and energized by leaderboards, quotas, and measurable performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities and consistently execute against a defined sales process.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate product value in a concise, compelling way.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling to SMB and technical buyers.
  • Experience working a purchased or targeted list systematically.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, hosting, or website-builder products.
  • Experience in a high-growth sales organization or building a new territory from the ground up.
  • Experience partnering with Account Managers and Solutions Engineers through the sales process.
