The Employer Services Account Executive will report directly to the Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Accounts. The Account Executive is responsible for the execution of sales strategies that drive profitable growth in  an assigned book of accounts. You will engage actively with the client on a consultative basis to learn its business, anticipate its needs and then propose/deliver innovative Equifax solutions. As a necessary part of the role, the Account Executive is particularly proficient in the definition and demonstration of tangible ROI.  

As an Employer Services Sales team member at Equifax you will be a trusted authority for meeting the evolving HR, payroll, tax management and compliance needs of employers. You will have the ability to deliver reliable strategic human capital value alongside significant cost and time savings is a testament to our unmatched data assets, recognized expertise, superior innovation and consistent responsiveness. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned accounts.  

  • Proactively identify and address Customer needs, providing timely and effective solutions to maximize value to the Customer.

  • Conduct annual business reviews identifying opportunities, fostering a collaborative relationship with the Customer to position the business as a trusted partner/advisor.  

  • Develop and Manage sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of deals.  

  • Respond to customer inquiries, proposals, and RFPs, showcasing our value proposition and competitive advantage.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability targets.  

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.  

  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive developments 

What Experience You Need (minimum qualifications):

  • 5+ years of experience in a client facing, strategic sales role

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of related Sales experience, including demonstrated experience:

    • Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to close.

    • Conducting effective product demonstrations to showcase value.

    • Maintaining accurate customer relationship management (CRM) system data, contributing to effective tracking and management.

    • Developing compelling proposals and value-based selling strategies.

    • Negotiating and closing small to mid-size deals.

    • Creating detailed account and territory plans to maximize sales opportunities.

    • Conducting comprehensive research on prospects to identify potential leads.

    • Successfully leveraging a complex matrixed environment to achieve business objectives.

    • Executing renewals to maintain existing client relationships.

    • Applied knowledge of (or experience in) specific industry verticals, preferred.

    • Tracking activity metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

    • Maintaining a high volume and activity of work effectively.

  • Travel up to 50% of the time

  • Experience in the following industries: Professional Services, Retail, Restaurants, Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of National client accounts and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple client partners

  • Experience demonstrating innovation (working knowledge of Equifax products in each business unit a plus)

  • Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to use that knowledge to actively drive sales

  • Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives

  • Confirmed sales/solution selling experience, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, client data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated understanding of key skills across Equifax competencies

  • Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies; extraordinary ability to run a robust pipeline

  • Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills

  • Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients
