We are seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth within a defined territory by combining strategic field selling with disciplined inside sales execution. This role is responsible for generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and managing complex opportunities across SolarWinds observability, infrastructure monitoring, network management, and database solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, strong prospecting discipline, and experience engaging enterprise IT decision-makers across multi-stakeholder environments. They are comfortable owning the full sales cycle, partnering with Sales Engineering and channel partners, and consistently closing six-figure opportunities while maintaining an accurate forecast and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Your Impact:

  • Own and grow a defined enterprise territory, driving net-new and expansion revenue against quota.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans across both field and inside sales motions.
  • Prospect into target accounts through strategic outbound outreach, email, phone, partner engagement, and executive networking.
  • Engage IT and business decision-makers with a consultative approach to uncover priorities, pain points, and buying criteria.
  • Lead complex opportunities through the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification to evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Position SolarWinds solutions across full-stack observability, infrastructure and network monitoring, and database management portfolios, including both on-premises and SaaS offerings.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering to deliver compelling remote and in-person product demonstrations, technical evaluations, and proof points.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify cross-sell, upsell, renewal, and new logo opportunities.
  • Coordinate effectively with channel partners to expand market reach and accelerate deal progression.
  • Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline and disciplined forecast in Salesforce.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout the buying journey, including follow-up, quoting, partner coordination, and commercial execution.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of successful field selling into enterprise accounts within the IT, infrastructure software, observability, monitoring, or database technology space.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota and driving expansion revenue within an enterprise book of business.
  • Experience closing complex opportunities of $100K+ with typical sales cycles of 3–6 months.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise technology buying motions and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders across distributed organizations.
  • Ability to sell through a hybrid motion that combines field engagement, inside sales execution, and partner collaboration.
  • Excellent discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong understanding of observability, network and infrastructure monitoring, and database solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with disciplined pipeline, account, and territory management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
