As an Account Executive – Mid-Market, you'll own the full sales cycle for construction companies running projects in the $50M–$150M range. This is a high-velocity, consultative role where you'll be selling a genuinely differentiated product to an industry that's hungry for better tools. You'll work closely with marketing, solutions, and customer success to close deals and build long-term customer relationships.
Your Day-to-Day at ALICE Technologies:
- Run the full sales cycle — prospecting through close — for mid-market GC, Owner, and EPC accounts
- Lead discovery conversations that connect ALICE's capabilities to customer project outcomes, schedule risk, and budget pressures
- Deliver compelling demos and presentations that make complex optimization concepts easy to understand
- Identify and develop champions within target accounts who can drive internal buy-in
- Navigate procurement processes efficiently in a faster-moving, less complex buying environment than enterprise
- Collaborate with marketing on inbound leads and outbound sequences to build and maintain a healthy pipeline
- Contribute feedback on product needs and customer insights to the broader team
Your Skills
- 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with ACV in the $30K–$75K range
- Track record of consistent quota attainment — we'll want to see the numbers
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred; background in construction tech, project management software, or related fields is a plus
- Ability to run a structured, efficient sales process — you know how to qualify hard and move deals forward without dragging them out
- Strong discovery and demo skills; you can connect product value to real business outcomes
- Clear, confident communicator — comfortable presenting to project executives and operations leaders
- Comfortable with ambiguity; we're still writing the playbook in some areas and need people who thrive in that environment
- Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
