The Account Executive is responsible for developing assigned agencies by promoting Portfolio products, while maintaining the company’s philosophies and principles. Works with our entire organizational staff to ensure the success of assigned agencies with professionalism and enthusiasm and being the point of reference for all concerns, issues, and direction for everything pertaining to assigned agencies.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• To be a product knowledge and technology expert in ALL environments
• Work with management and Client Relations teams to continue to develop processes that will ensure current accounts’ growth and success with Portfolio.
• Take immediate action to meet the needs of clients
• Responsible to work with others to work through/resolve issues with current clients
• General Management of current assigned agencies
• Proper delegation of work through the Business Development and Client Relations teams
• Accountable for meeting annual production forecast expectations
• Conduct Retro/Reinsurance and custom dealer presentations
• Complete Retro/Reinsurance reviews for ALL assigned agency business
• Manage assigned agencies Dealer’s remittance trends
• Manage assigned agencies attrition for current dealers
• Accountable for keeping expenses within the established guidelines
• Responsible for working with the accounting department on all accounting issues related to assigned agencies
• Responsible for working with the Claims department on claim issues related to assigned agencies
• Take ownership of changes and is personally responsible for managing change in an upbeat positive manner
• Travel 70-80% of the time (air, road, etc.)
• Other Job Duties as assigned
