Role Overview

As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle with mid-market and enterprise retailers. You’ll prospect, pitch, and close new accounts — showing retail leaders how Reflex’s retail staffing solution solves their biggest labor challenges and improves conversion in stores.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Reflex’s Marketplace Ops and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth launches and long-term adoption, while exceeding revenue targets and building deep client relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Pipeline Growth & Prospecting
    • Identify and develop new opportunities with retailers across apparel, footwear, luxury, home goods, and specialty categories.
    • Research prospects, map decision makers, and craft compelling outreach to book discovery meetings.
  • Sales Execution
    • Run consultative sales processes with Directors/VPs of Retail Ops, HR, Finance and Workforce Planning.
    • Lead product demos and ROI-driven presentations that showcase Reflex as the best solution for retail labor.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close new partnerships including interfacing with legal counsel.
  • Partnership Building
    • Act as the face of Reflex to new clients, developing strong executive-level relationships.
    • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and expansion.
  • Revenue Growth & Forecasting
    • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets.
    • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecast revenue in HubSpot.
    • Track and share market insights to inform sales strategy and product development.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, staffing, HR tech, or workforce management selling into retailers a plus.
  • Proven success exceeding quota in a consultative, solutions-oriented sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and challenges of managing hourly/W-2 workforces.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — comfortable selling to VP and C-level decision makers. Proven ability to influence others at different corporate levels.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can balance hunting with building long-term partnerships.
