Account Resolution Specialist

*This position is hybrid remote and will require work onsite at our north Austin, TX headquarters.

What you bring to the team:

  • Three to five years of collections and/or lending experience, including providing support to customers over the phone or in person.
  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening skills, and proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment.
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service with the ability to problem-solve
  • Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and organize work tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
  • Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
  • Flexibility to work department hours including evenings and Saturdays

Your day-to-day

As a point of contact for our members, you will be an excellent active listener, outstanding communicator, and master problem solver. Account Resolution Specialists have the responsibility for the collection of all delinquent accounts of consumer loans, credit cards, and other loans. Your skills will include working in a fast-paced environment, presenting the value of solutions, and working toward mutual goals for the members and Velocity Credit Union.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and occasional Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm or 9:00am to 1:00pm. Employees may be required to work late based on department needs.
