This is a remote position.
Core Accounting Responsibilities
We need someone who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and monthly financial processes, including:

QuickBooks Online management and transaction coding

Full monthly bookkeeping and month-end close
-
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
-
Processing monthly bills, checks and electronic payments for approval
-
Employee/member reimbursements
-
Payroll processing/accounting, payroll journal entries, benefits and 401(k)
-
Bank and credit card reconciliations
-
Oversight and reconciliation of our operating, money market, CD, PAC and investment accounts
-
Budgeting, forecasting and budget-to-actual reporting
-
Monthly financial statements and Board-ready financial reporting
-
Organized digital financial records and supporting documentation
-
Coordination with our outside CPA/tax firm
-
Audit/review support
-
Strong internal controls and identification of discrepancies or unusual transactions
Requirements
-
Associates Degree or higher in accounting or business
-
5-7 years of accounting experience
-
With experience using Quick-books
-
High attention to detail
-
Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines
-
Experience working in an ERP software environment
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and other Microsoft Office software
-
Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime.

Ability to multi-task
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and dealing with internal and external customers

Good organizational skills, keeping work area clean and well organized
