You will be leading a passionate & talented finance team to drive for the utmost level of financial accuracy for hotel guests, colleagues, and visitors to The Langham, Boston, by delivering high standards in guest experience & colleague engagement in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Income Audit and Accounts Payable functions.
- Prepare Daily and Weekly Revenue Report.
- Assist with Month-End Close Process, including preparation and review of journal entries
- Reconcile daily payment transactions
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and operating reports.
- Assist with timely completion of balance sheet and bank reconciliations as required by Langham Hotels standard operating procedures.
- Assist Accounting colleagues as needed.
- Complete a daily and monthly tax reconciliation.
- Answer calls from guests and research the issue/inquiry.
- Additional duties not mentioned above may also be requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Two to three years’ Accounting experience, preferably in hospitality industry 3 years of experience in the Hotel field as a supervisor or manager a plus
- Knowledge of accounting operations relative to the hotel, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, income audit, etc.
- Basic mathematics skills; ability to operate 10-key by touch; computer knowledge.
- Must be able work under strict time constraints
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Salary Range:
- $85,000 - $92,000 annually
