Role Overview:

Could you be our next Administrative Specialist? Globe Life is looking for an Administrative Specialist to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail while providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Through training, the Administrative Specialist focuses on first-contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while maintaining adherence to the operational standards.

This position is also required to assist with warehouse records and office tasks by gathering records, reviewing, and auditing mail. The Administrative Specialist acts on behalf of Globe Life and its affiliates as First-tier support for all customer inquiries and is required to effectively communicate and resolve each related issue. 

This is an on-site position located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do:

  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, packages and deliveries 
  • Provide accurate resolutions to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner 
  • Ensure customer needs are met in every interaction (email, written correspondence, etc.) 
  • Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics. 
  • Work to research and resolve problems in a timely manner while maintaining productivity standards and performance 
  • Assist with records request in office and warehouse.  
  • Pull, review, scan, and audit records requests in the office and warehouse.  
  • Review, audit, and mail correspondence. 
  • Demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding client/customer and exceeding service and quality expectations

What You Can Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree, preferred
  • 3 years minimum work experience in a similar role required 
  • Must have the ability to handle customer service records emails, workflow, letters and other offline duties 
  • Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team. 
  • Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers (internal and external) 
  • Ability to type 25-30 wpm
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of the Internet for business use.
  • Ability to learn new computer systems. 
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including the ability to professionally handle and resolve escalated issues
  • Schedule Flexibility 
  • Ability to be detail-oriented 
  • Ability to maintain and/or exceed department KPI goals: (Attendance, productivity and quality assurance) 
  • Ability to lift or move 40+ lb. boxes
