Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced AI Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying production-ready Machine Learning models and Artificial Intelligence agents that optimize complex logistics workflows and drive measurable cost reductions.

You will join a high-impact team dedicated to bridging the gap between operational business challenges and scalable technical solutions, directly influencing our supply chain and field operations.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Develop End-to-End AI Solutions: Design, build, and monitor production-ready Machine Learning models and automated agents to streamline multi-step operational decision-making.

  • Optimize Operational Workflows: Collaborate with Finance, Facilities, and Information Technology teams to build robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines and integrate predictive tools into existing warehouse and logistics software.

  • Govern AI Safety and Compliance: Ensure the responsible deployment of all systems by performing rigorous model validation, maintaining strict data governance, and mitigating risk or bias in automated decisions.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of applied experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning engineering or advanced analytics, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.

  • Advanced technical expertise in Python and SQL, with proven experience scaling "agentic" workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using platforms like LangChain or n8n.

  • Proven ability in strategic problem-solving and rapid prototyping, with the communication skills necessary to explain complex model outputs to non-technical business leaders.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

  • United States Citizenship is required.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your experience level.

  • Flexible work options to support a healthy work–life balance.

  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans to support your long-term well-being.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth in a cutting-edge technical environment.

Reasonably expected salary range: $107,500.00 - $143,300.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
