The Role:

This internship is for a designer who's already ahead of the syllabus. You're experimenting with AI tools, nerding out to ads in your free time, and itching to make something that drives revenue.

You'll learn by doing: helping to produce Paid Social performance video ads and getting hands-on exposure to generative AI tools. If you're the type who's already experimenting with new tools before anyone asks you to, you'll thrive here.

This is a remote, paid, 3-month internship at $20–30/hr depending on experience. Must be able to work 20 hours per week in EST, CST, or PST and start in June or July 2026.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Foundational proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; some exposure to After Effects or motion design

  • Experience making short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or other Social Media Platform

  • An eye for design principles. You can articulate why something looks off, you sweat the details, and you're actively working to improve hierarchy, contrast, and visual flow

  • Bias toward making over talking. You'd rather show a rough prototype than describe an idea, and you're comfortable putting unfinished work in front of people

  • Genuine curiosity about generative video tools — you've played with at least a few (Runway, Kling, Veo, or similar) and you have opinions about what they're good and bad at

  • Basic prompt engineering instincts. You understand that how you describe something changes what you get

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion:

We believe that there is no single candidate profile that guarantees success in this role. Experience comes in different forms; many skills are transferable, and passion goes a long way. If your background is similar to the job description and you think you can excel in this role, please apply and tell us about yourself and the impact you could make at The Mind Company.

We also know that diversity of identity, experience, and thought leads to more creativity, better problem-solving, and wiser decisions, which is why we're dedicated to adding new perspectives to our team. We are an equal opportunity employer; committed to diversity and building an equitable and inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and experiences, and we're taking steps to meet that commitment. We highly encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks, veterans, and people with disabilities.
