The Associate Communications Specialist will be responsible for digital communication for various audiences with the overarching task to positively drive a consistent message directly promoting the WellMed Charitable Foundation and indirectly promoting the WellMed brand in the community. This position will play an integral hands-on role in working with other corporate departments and teams to implement internal and external brand awareness, marketing campaigns and corporate communication. Although reporting directly to the Vice President, Social Responsibility, this position will work with additional colleagues and team leaders to ensure the message is consistent, clear and concise.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be aligned to your schedule.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, Marketing, Communications or a related field required. 4+ years of comparable work experience with a High School Diploma/ GED or associate's degree in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of experience with written communication, advertising and marketing coordination activities
- Has previously worked OR is currently working as a contractor placed at UGH OR one of its subsidiaries OR affiliates
- Develop and deliver creative solutions that strengthen the brand distinction
- Teambuilding abilities, leader, with coaching skills, keen judgment and problem solving skills
