Tenstorrent is building the next generation of AI and RISC-V compute. The Corporate Development Associate works at the center of the company’s most consequential transactions and strategic decisions, partnering directly with the C-suite across M&A, fundraising, partnerships, and corporate strategy. It is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who takes on responsibility quickly and operates independently from day one.

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON; Austin, TX; or Santa Clara, CA.

Who You Are

  • A self-starter who takes on responsibility quickly and operates independently, comfortable working directly with C-suite. 
  • Strategically sharp, with the analytical rigor to frame and pressure-test high-stakes decisions.
  • Ideal candidates will have fast-paced professional environment experience (investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, strategy as examples).
  • Comfort with interfacing with senior counterparties, from investors and partners to government and industry leaders.
  • Curious about semiconductors, data centers, and AI, with the drive to go deep on both the technology and the market.

What We Need

  • Execute M&A, from sourcing and diligence through modeling, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead financial and business modeling that underpins fundraising, deals, and strategic decisions.
  • Build and manage partnerships and strategic sales across the AI, semiconductor, and data center ecosystem.
  • Prepare board-level and corporate strategy materials in close partnership with executive leadership.
  • Support fundraising and government relations, owning process and engagement with key external stakeholders.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
