Job summary:

Engineering Managers (Team Leads) needs strong technical grounding combined with strategic oversight:

• Understand the end-to-end technology stack used to deliver our products to market for your teams focus area .
• Understand the basics of how our products deliver value to our customers.
• Technical Leadership
• Understand software architecture and design principles.
• Stay current with programming languages, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Guide teams on best practices for Agile, SDLC, and cloud-native solutions.
• Engineering Excellence
• Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to standards.
• Promote automation, and performance optimization.
• Make informed decisions on technology stacks, security, data privacy, and risk management.
• Security and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standard

This role bridges technical execution and organizational strategy:

• Strategic Planning
• Define clear objectives for the team aligned with business goals.
• Balance delivery speed with long-term stability and scalability of your teams focus area.
• Drive innovation while managing technical debt.
• Team Management
• Hire, mentor, and coach engineers.
• Remove blockers and create psychological safety for team members.
• Operational Leadership
• Partner with Product, and delivery teams to deliver on your teams roadmaps.
• Remove organizational blockers and maintain clear communication of priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree  Pref
• 7 years Software Quality Assurance experience in web development, advertising technologies or related area. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of software development processes
• Considerable knowledge of software quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving, risk analysis and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional training capabilities.
• Effective organization, communication, team orientation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients..
