The role:
As an Associate Partner in Augment Risk’s MGA & Program Solutions team, you will play a central role in structuring, placing, and delivering program transactions, while progressively developing your own relationships and origination capabilities. This role is suited to experienced professionals from the MGA, program, or fronting carrier ecosystem who want to deepen their technical expertise and broaden their strategic impact.
Responsibilities:
• Program Structuring and Placement:
Lead placement strategy and execution for MGA and program clients. Design structures that align underwriting performance with carrier and capital appetite.
• Client Delivery:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of program transactions, from initial structuring and submission through to negotiation and execution.
• Market Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships across MGAs, carriers, reinsurers, and alternative capital providers to enhance market insight and access.
• Business Development: Contribute to new opportunity identification through existing networks, research, and proactive market engagement. For some, this may include early-stage origination and account ownership with Partner oversight.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work closely with Augment’s specialists in structured reinsurance, ILS, parametric, captive and legacy to deliver integrated client outcomes.
• Thought Development: Support internal and external initiatives that advance Augment’s position as a leader in program and capital solutions.
Experience:
• Proven experience structuring or placing program, MGA, or fronted transactions.
• Strong understanding of US program market dynamics, including carrier–reinsurer alignment and hybrid capital structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships, with an interest or emerging skill in origination.
• Commercially minded, analytical, and entrepreneurial - energized by designing modern, scalable solutions.
• Collaborative approach with ambition to grow into a future originator and leader within Augment’s platform.
