Support and lead Pigment EPM project delivery: plan, execute, and close engagements while managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders, resource allocation, forecasting, and customer relationships. Drive governance, mentor consultants, contribute to estimation and pre-sales, and promote continuous improvement to ensure customer success and revenue expansion.
The Associate Project Manager at Argano is responsible for supporting project management activities within Argano’s Pigment Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice. This role plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed within the established scope, timeline, and budget. While we do not require Pigment experience, we do require experience that includes a combination of leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the successful delivery of complex and strategic Pigment EPM implementations, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction across one or more engagements.
- Continue to execute and uphold the standard delivery methodology across active engagements, including project planning, status reporting, risk and issue management, key decision tracking, delivery ceremonies, and overall project governance.
- Serve as the primary delivery leader and trusted advisor for customer stakeholders, building strong relationships and maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead executive status meetings, steering committees, and strategic customer discussions while driving accountability across both customer and internal teams.
- Act as a senior point of escalation for delivery, customer, and operational issues, proactively resolving challenges to maintain project health and customer confidence.
- Partner closely with Solution Architects, Model Builders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, solution design, and successful implementation execution.
- Drive project staffing, resource allocation, and capacity planning activities to ensure successful delivery and effective utilization of resources.
- Support delivery forecasting and project financial performance, including awareness of burn, margin, and overall engagement health.
- Contribute to project estimation, statement of work development, scoping activities, and pre-sales workshops to ensure successful project planning and delivery readiness.
- Develop deep knowledge of Pigment implementation methodologies, deployment strategies, integrations, and platform capabilities to effectively lead complex implementations.
- Mentor and coach consultants and Solution Implementation Managers, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to strengthen overall delivery capabilities and reinforce delivery standards.
- Promote operational rigor and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes, governance, and project execution practices.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer priorities and business objectives to proactively identify opportunities for additional phases, support services, and expanded solution capabilities.
- Partner with account teams and sales leadership to support customer retention, drive revenue expansion, and maintain long-term strategic relationships.
- Support pipeline readiness and portfolio planning activities by providing input into staffing, delivery capacity, and future resource requirements.
- Champion customer success and serve as an advocate for both the customer and the delivery organization to ensure positive business outcomes and long-term partnership growth.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of consulting, project management, or implementation experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional implementations and managing executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and strategic customer relationships simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, revenue retention, and account growth.
- Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
- Experience supporting project estimation, scoping, and staffing activities.
- Strong understanding of delivery methodologies, Agile principles, and project governance.
- Familiarity with portfolio forecasting, capacity planning, and utilization management.
- Knowledge of FP&A, WFP, S&OP, or related planning processes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Pigment implementation methodologies and Connected Planning concepts.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification is preferred.
