Mind Computing is seeking a skilled AWS Developer to design, develop, and manage cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and provide ETL support using AWS tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS services, cloud computing, and DevOps practices to build, modify, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and solutions on AWS.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, and others for application development.
- Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
- Build data integration workflows using tools available in the AWS suite of cloud applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ensure security best practices in AWS, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
- Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance using AWS CloudWatch and logging tools.
- Pull and manipulate data from external APIs.
- Stay updated with AWS best practices, new features, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile programming environment.
- Proven experience as an AWS Developer or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services, cloud computing, and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in AWS environments.
- Experience in designing, managing and optimizing SQL server on AWS.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of ETL patterns and best practices for data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data services such as AWS Glue.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with machine learning, big data, or IoT services in AWS.
- Experience supporting Legacy applications.
- Familiar with x12 and health care transactions related to claims processing.
- Experience building functions in Python.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with integrations with SaaS products, such as Pega, Service Now, or Jira.
