Overview of Role:

We are looking for a heavy-hitting Backend Engineer specialized in Go (Golang) to join our engineering team immediately. This is a "hit the ground running" role—you will be expected to contribute production-ready code within your first week. You will focus on building high-performance, distributed systems and scalable APIs.

Roles & Responsibility:
  • Expertise in Go: 4+ years of professional experience building microservices and backend systems specifically with Golang.

  • Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels) and building scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.

  • API Design: Deep experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and RESTful API design.

  • Data Layer: Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and caching layers like Redis.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS) and Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Testing: Commitment to writing robust unit and integration tests.

  • Immediate Delivery: Tackle a backlog of high-priority features and system optimizations from Day 1.

  • Microservices Development: Architect and implement performant backend services that can handle high-throughput traffic.

  • System Monitoring: Integrate logging and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) to ensure 99.9% uptime.

  • Collaboration: Participate in rapid-fire standups and provide technical clarity on backend architecture.

Qualifications:
  • Immediate Availability: You must be able to complete onboarding and start work within 48 hours.

  • US-Based: Must be currently located in the US and authorized to work (Contract).

  • Work Ethic: Ability to work a consistent 40-hour week with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Communication: Excellent technical communication skills for a fast-paced, remote environment.
