About the Role

We are currently seeking a professional and courteous Bell Person to join our team at OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark. As Bell Person, you will be responsible for providing superior service, as you will be the first and last impression our guests experience. You will be expected to display professionalism, be courteous, provide hotel information and directions, assisting with luggage and ensuring every stay begins and ends with exceptional care.
 

What you will be doing

  • Greet guests in a friendly and approachable manner upon arrival and departure from the resort.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to and from guest rooms, if requested.
  • Assist with handling and distribution of guest packages and parcels, if requested.
  • Provide accurate information and directions to the variety of hotel amenities, services and events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell stand, luggage storage, lobby, and entry areas.
  • Properly log and track all luggage trips and deliveries originating from the bell stand.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk and Valet, to fulfill guest requests seamlessly and efficiently.

What are we looking for?

What you bring to the role:

  • High School diploma: some college preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills; engaging personality to interact with guests, resort associates, and local businesses.
  • Fluent in English; able to speak, read, and write.
  • Previous experience as a Bell Person or a Customer Service role preferred.
  • Familiar with the local area, including attractions & entertainment venues.
  • Ability to maintain service levels under high pressure working environments
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts including on holidays and weekends
