We are seeking a skilled Blog Management Specialist with expertise in SEO and content creation to oversee our blog hosted on Shopify. This role requires a strategic thinker who can enhance our blog’s visibility and engagement through optimized content and effective management practices.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and maintain a content calendar. Write engaging, high-quality blog posts and articles that reflect our brand’s voice and appeal to our target audience.
- SEO Optimization: Implement advanced SEO strategies to increase blog visibility and organic search rankings. Conduct keyword research, optimize content and meta tags, and ensure all blog content is SEO-friendly.
- Blog Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the blog on Shopify, including publishing posts, updating old content, and managing user comments.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze blog performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools to assess the effectiveness of content and SEO strategies.
- Engagement Strategies: Work on increasing reader engagement by incorporating interactive content, visuals, and calls-to-action that prompt reader involvement.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure blog content aligns with wider marketing strategies and campaigns.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a blog manager and content creator, with a strong portfolio of written work.
- Expert knowledge of SEO practices and tools, with a proven track record of improving blog rankings and visibility.
- Experience managing blogs on Shopify or similar platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong research skills and ability to write on a variety of topics.
