WHAT YOU'LL DO

Every single day, our Marketing team searches for surprising and refreshing ways to create connections with our customers and consumers.


You’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the Sparkling Ice Caffeine brand—identifying growth opportunities, developing long-term plans, and driving performance across key business and marketing KPIs. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to bring strategies to life, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, R&D, supply chain, and finance. It’s a chance to shape brand direction, deliver measurable results, and make a direct impact on Talking Rain’s success.


Reports to: Director, Brand Marketing

Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 4 days a week

Annual Bonus Potential: 10% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.


  • Develop and recommend the long-term vision and key strategies for the brand with a wide scope encompassing cross-functional areas including sales, shopper marketing, supply chain, sales, and finance.
  • Develop and own the annual brand business plan to deliver on key Brand KPIs.
  • Measure key brand, financial, and marketing investment KPIs while taking action against learning. Lead the development of a marketing strategy that helps deliver brand KPIs and partner with our creative and media agencies on messaging and communication strategies.
  • Translate the annual brand plan into a national sell story in partnership with sales.
  • Collaborate with Insights team to identify product offering gaps and valuable consumers insights to drive portfolio strategy and brand growth through the innovation pipeline.
  • Lead the development of packaging and product development briefs and manage the innovation process through commercialization.
  • Provide brand‑level inputs to the volume forecast and demand planning process, flagging risks and opportunities to plan.
  • Monitor competitive activity and category trends; bring implications and recommendations to the team.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4-6 years of product/brand management experience, ideally with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project and program efforts to completion.
  • Strong analytical/reporting skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with end-to-end product development and commercialization processes.
  • Experience with Syndicated Data (IRI preferred).
  • Familiarity with traditional trade channels: food, mass, club, and convenience.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A willingness to navigate change and ambiguity.
  • A passion for the consumer.
  • Ability to travel 1-3 times per quarter, based on business need.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Three Weeks of Vacation per calendar year. And that’s just to start! Spend some time with us, and you’ll accrue an additional week every few years, depending on your exempt status!
  • FMLA qualifying Rain Makers receive six weeks of paid parental leave. Parents get to spend time at home bonding with their new addition (whether it arrives by birth, fostering, or adoption). For birth mothers, additional time is provided for medical leave. Depending on the state in which you reside, additional time may also be available for parents who do not require medical leave.
  • Flexibility Stipend. For eligible Rain Makers, spend this extra monthly stipend as you wish, but know it’s intended to contribute to things like your phone, internet or other business uses while working remotely or needs outside of normal working hours.
  • Relocation: Relocation Available (when available)
  • Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.
  • 401k with Immediate Vesting. With matched contributions and investment customization, we'll help build a plan to reach your goals.
  • Fitness Reimbursements. We're all about going the extra mile, so we provide reimbursements for community events and competitions like fun runs, triathlons, and cycling tours.

    • Field Sales Specialist – Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate
    • Field Sales Managers and Market Managers – Company car or vehicle stipend included!
    • Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors – We use the leader in vehicle reimbursement solutions, Motus. This program provides a monthly fixed and variable rate that adheres to IRS guidelines for the business use of personal vehicles.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
