The Role
As a Business Analyst within Capco’s Business Consulting practice, you will support retail energy clients by bridging business needs and technology solutions. You will play a key role in shaping strategy, gathering requirements, and delivering high-quality consulting outcomes that improve operational efficiency and support transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and analysis to gather and document business requirements
  • Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Analyze current vs. future state processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Create process models, data models, and business architecture documentation
  • Produce clear, high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations, and proposals

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within retail energy (e.g., billing, CIS, EDI, customer care)
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Experience producing structured consulting deliverables and documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Technology

Bonus Points For

  • Experience within a management consulting environment
  • Exposure to wholesale energy, settlements, or trading
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and lifecycle management
  • Experience contributing to business cases, proposals, or pre-sales activities
  • Basic scripting or technical understanding supporting system analysis
