As a Business Analyst for the Communication Desk at Spectrum, you will monitor business-impacting events, evaluate processes, and partner with stakeholders to deliver recommendations that enhance operational response and communication flow. Your role is pivotal in connecting frontline activities to broader business objectives, ensuring critical issues are managed effectively and continuous improvement in daily operations supports executive leadership across the organization.
Working Conditions
  • This position supports a 24/7/365 operation and requires flexibility to work varied hours, including participation in an on-call rotation to support business and operational priorities.
  • The anticipated starting shift for this position is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM CT Sun-Thurs; however, work schedule assignments may be adjusted based on business needs.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business operations and propose solutions that support organizational goals
  • Evaluate organizational structure, policies and procedures to identify opportunities for enhanced processes and planning
  • Compile, interpret and present data to inform decisions regarding current and future operations
  • Create reports, charts, graphs and presentations that help shape new business strategies
  • Develop project estimates by identifying phases, personnel needs and associated costs
  • Assess external market trends and data sources to deliver actionable recommendations to management
  • Recommend improvements that may involve new technologies or alternative uses of existing technology
  • Support management of critical incidents from initial engagement through final resolution, including coordination of updates, documentation and follow-through across impacted teams
  • Provide concise, business-friendly communications to leadership and stakeholders regarding incident status, scope of impact, mitigation efforts and next steps
  • Participate in bridge calls, shift handoffs and cross-functional coordination efforts to maintain continuity during active operational events
  • Proactively support lower-priority operational workstreams when critical events are not active, including monitoring, email response coordination, frontline support and process guidance

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience
  • 2+ years of business analysis or related experience

Skills
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data
  • Quickly identifies business opportunities and challenges
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software applications including Word and Excel
